How to Access Folding Step Bolts 2011 Sprinter 5th Wheel

The Bolt/Nut that secures the Fold Out Steps, under the Door Frame Threshold are loose, causing the Stairs to Drop when we walk on them. I am not sure what I need to do, to remove the Aluminum Threshold, that appears to Cover the Bold Head.

From the Inside Edge, I can see a Screw on the R / L Sides that goes into the Threshold. Are there Additional Screws that must be removed, to gain access underneath? Do I have to remove the Complete Door Frame?
Thanks

Our steps are secured in the left and right ends of the step assembly, with nothing above. If you see the round heads of carriage bolts on the inside of the vertical plates at either end of the step assembly, that will likely be what might be loose.
