Way to long to read. Just looking at pics, looks like you hit something. Not a "crack", perse.

Weberving....if I were you, I'd contact your state attorney general. They are there for these kinds of things. Granted, they might not rule in your favor. But it's worth a shot. I got screwed over by a Toyota dealer, and my AG ruled in their favor. Even though I had proof. But, you have 2 other sources to back you. Wont cost a dime to try first. Good luck....

Don't know your mechanical skills, but if I were in your shoes, i'd just fix it myself. Actually, I did fix a crack on my front cap after it came in contact with my truck bed-rails.

Bondo fiberglas repair kit. It's a 2 part epoxy and comes with a mash to cut to size to use for a backing in larger areas. Get some 1500 grit sand paper (any automotive store), and have at it. After you fill the cracks and holes, sand, sand, sand, and fill again. Smooth, smooth, and smooth some more. Then spray paint with an automotive paint and finish off with spray gelcoat (also from the same automotive store).

Takes about a week, a little bit of tender loving care, and the satisfaction you did it yourself. I'd never use that dealership again, and let them know why.

That's what I'd do.

This is also what I would do. Waiting for an RV service dept under normal conditions is bad enough let alone waiting for a warranty issue to get sorted out. I prefer to save my time and aggravation and just do it myself.
