315RLS washer

Has anyone put a vented washer/dryer in a 2019 315RLS?

I found a used Splendide 2100XC for $200. Before I buy it I wan't to make sure it will fit.

I did some quick measurements and I'm not sure it will fit in the cabinet. The Splendide website says the unit is 22 5/8" deep and the vent is 4".

I think the cabinet is only 26" deep but my 315RLS is in the shop getting some warranty work done so I cant verify.

We only use a washer for things like bathing suits so it's not a huge deal if it won't fit but for $200 it would be nice to have.

Welcome to the forum. I have been looking at the vented washer and dryer myself but haven't been able to find a used one yet, well the ones that I'm am willing to try anyway. As far on what you have said maybe someone that has that same 5th wheel will chime in with the dimension you need, it should fit.

That price I wouldn't won't to pass up ever, I look at a lot of videos on youtube on how to install one and I feel confidence that I can do it myself once I find one or I just might let the dealer install it.

Djhnsn999,

There are a couple of threads on the forum that detail problems with cabinet depth and washer/dryer installation. I can't find the threads right now, but if you do a forum search for terms like "Splendide" and "washer installation" you should be able to locate them.

Speaking strictly from memory (and I've slept at least once in the meantime) I believe the problem was cabinet depth. The washer/dryer space is "built out slightly" from the front closet, but in some models, that "built out space" was only enough for the unit, not for the unit AND the vent/ducting. So, you're on the right path to confirm the space is adequate before "leaping at the opportunity". Seems it was a pretty significant modification that the dealer had to do to make it work for the member that was reporting his experiences. For him, the dealer did the work as it was a new trailer, but for you, it's likely you'll be responsible for any work required.

Thanks I will do some more research. Not sure I'm willing to do much to make it fit since it won't get used often.
