We do not have any animals, don't smoke, just myself and wife. Only used RV for a few months at coast of Texas. (Mustang Island State Park.) We are hosts at the state park.
Off topic but were you aware of this news article (ain't new) around the corner from Mustang Island:

LazyBoys are two piece. Back comes off easily and goes right through a 23" RV door and then you put the base it, narrow end first, and turn it some and it goes right in.

I dont know how far it has gotten or if it will affect this situation. But from what I have heard it is a common problem.

Update, it is now 2022 and the peeling has begun. Sad to say.

I was looking at replacing the stuff in my last trailer and RecPro was where I was at. Traded the trailer and fixed the problem!

RecPro is a tad pricey. Most all furniture that will ship will come with a removable back and is easy to get in a camper. LazyBoy and such. We had Lazyboy in our camper and swapped out for a couple of individual recliners as the missus bought a new couch and made me get rid of our living room recliners (almost new) so into the camper they went. They are very comfortable.
