You may need a new Depends if you see my rig on the highway !!!!! The first three are my Cougar/boat/motorcycle, the last is a typical "around Lake Mead" RV/boat.

I would guess that most leave in In early October, that would put them in the 6 month time frame which is the end of the allowable stay in USA unless you have a Visa. It's also tax season so the deadline is the end of April.

They weren't ordered back by the Canadian government.

That appears to be a dual console ProLine boat. A good one. Only thing catastrophic I see is that Mercury outboard.
I've pulled a 18ft center console McKee behind our Class C. Nuttin to it.

Makes sense to me.

From Tourism Florida
"Canadians are Florida’s top international visitors. More than 3.5 million Canadians made the trek in 2018, spending an estimated $6.5 billion, according to tourism officials."

Exactly!
I'd guess 95% of snowbird Canadians would be leaving by then, same as any other year, pandemic or not.

I would feel better towing that boat if it had rear tie downs. Maybe, just maybe they went through the floor.

My neighbor, whom I talked to today, has a return date of May 1 as dictated by there health insurance policy. They are riding it out in Florida as they don't want to self quarantine upon return to Canada.

JRTJH,

That's a nice towing combo. First picture looks like the I-75 NB Indian River rest area.

I it is interesting to watch some back down a boat ramp to launch the boats. Some put a hitch on the front to launch. I have had 2 pickups with a front mount, they work great.
Something I have only seen once, motor-home pulling a trailer with a jeep on the bottom trailer deck and ski boat above the jeep. I did not get a close look, but I thought it like the car transporter trailer and the boat would be lowered after the jeep was removed. Certainly would get you around the double towing rule as long as the MH had the rating.

There are several trailer manufacturers who specialize in building "custom trailers" for motorhome owners. It's not always just a "jeep and a boat" that people want to tow behind their RV...

Class A and C motor homes tow boats up here in Alaska all the time. Quite a common sight. Just no steep unimproved boat launch ramps

That helicopter would be fun to have... camping and wild pig hunting at the same time

Maybe the following numbers will tell you.
USA 125,000 cases, 2,200 deaths 325M pop
Canada 5,700 cases. 61 deaths 38M pop
Based on population differences of the USA being 8.6 times more, the USA numbers should be
49,000 cases, 525 deaths. Instead the US has 2x the cases and 4x the deaths.
Clearly there is either something very wrong in the US or very right in Canada. In any case Canada is much safer now.
The Canadian border is closed to the US now except for returning Canadians and commercial as is the US border closed to Canadians.

They're taking it pretty serious up here but not totally freaking out. Grocery stores are open, fast food and take out is open. The big Ford plant is shut down but still a good amount of cars on the road. Lots of hand sanitizer being used.

Some Canadians may be scrambling, fearing that they will completely close the border, but they have never said that, anyone returning, must self isolate now for 14 days no matter what.
And others said, could be they are fearing cases getting worse down south?
If I didn't have to return to work, I'd stay if I could, as they are saying that they are not refusing Canadians the right to entry.

However, not sure if there are any plans down there yet, but they are already closing parks up here, or simply not preparing to open. Currently all Provincial Parks are currently closed until April 30th... Not really camping season for the masses up here. We were booked for Port Huron in May, but I have a feeling travel to the US (non-essential) will still be prohibited, regardless, my employer has cancelled all vacation until further notice, so I ain't goin nowhere!

Will be setting the camper up in the driveway, complete with some potted trees, a firepit etc whatever else I can to make it feel like a campsite.
