Switching table and sofa positions in slide

Hello,

In our trailer when you open the couch to use as a sleeper it extends right to the end of the kitchen cabinet. This makes for interesting times when the wife or I need to use the bathroom at night. I was thinking of switching the table and the sofa spots as this would solve the problem. I have done the measurements and it will work with it being very tight with slide closed and table coming right up to the counter. As we leave the unit at a permanent site we rarely close the slide until the end of the season. My question is can anyone tell me if I am missing something here. It seems pretty straight forward, unscrew each of them switch then screw them back in.

If there is room, I don’t see a reason why not. Only question I have is viewing the TV.

I thought of the TV issue and it does pull out and swing. It will be a little further away but I think it would be the lesser of the two evils. Washroom access at night is a higher priority.

Your dinette is deeper than the couch so measure and make sure you can get past it to get to the bedroom.

It definitely shortens the opening on that side to the bedroom. There is still enough room to enter that side.

as an update here is the sofa and table reversed. It worked out quite well and does not interfere with entering the bedroom on that side nor preventing the slide from closing. Thanks for the advice on this.

You do know you have two hairy looking critters that seem to have claimed that couch! Good job! I got rid of the original couch (pulled out to very uncomfortable sleeper) and our dinette (not wrap like yours) and am very happy with our furniture now. Left a few holes in the side paneling that a dab of caulk took care of.

Yes, they supervised the entire time. That was their couch we were messing with. They seemed to adjust nicely to its new spot.
