One time while meandering across AL, MS, AK on rural roads and traveling on MS-16, we were looking for a place to spend a couple of days. Surprisingly we came to Philadelphia, MS. Just before entering town we saw a billboard adverting a RV Park; Frog Level was the name. We decided to check it out, fearing by the name we were going to find a mosquito infested park. It was a smallish park with, as advertised, nice level parking. The pull thru sites were about 60’ so, as we found-out when checking-in, we could stay connected because there was free van services to the two Choctaw Indian casinos about two miles away that would provide us with meals and entertainment.
The Casinos (Golden Moon & Silver Star) are on opposite sides of MS-16 and there was a covered crosswalk across the road connecting the two casinos. The crosswalk had a people moving conveyer belt.
A few years after our first stop there a friend, retired from the Navy, moved there and became a pit boss at the Silver Star. So we have visited a few more times since then.
The Golden Moon has a unique design. Whereas the Silver Star has a conventional design.
