I wonder how it affects the towing. That looks like a lot of money in wheels and I'm guessing vinyl wrap.

To one it may look "good" but to me it looks, well dumb. Truck is for hauling, towing; especially a dually and turning an expensive tool into a foo foo appears to be flushing mega bucks down the toilet but this is the good ol USA so to each his own.

Just went to spend a few days "out of town" to see some different scenery. We were in Carlsbad, NM. The oilfield and associated service businesses are just going crazy with traffic off the charts. Many of those vehicles are 1 ton duallies. Most have the flat work bed in the back with their welding equipment. Many of those guys love to "enhance" those trucks with big lifts, and my favorite.....the 18" megaphone exhaust sticking out that bumps the bottom of the bed and bounces off the pavement.... Like George it just seems like a good way to make a good truck look bad.

In the original picture did y'all check out that drrrooopppped hitch?? Looked like it might need a couple more bolts to keep it from shifting.....

I see this truck all the time. It is part of a custom truck store and ill admit it looks good but not for hauling a 5th wheel.

Rudy,

Do you live in Fayetteville? My daughter goes to UofA taking her masters after graduating with a double from there.

We always stay at Hog Valley south of town.

Honestly I wouldn't go so as to say it looks good!
Absolutely ridiculous totally useless waste of a truck & lots of $$ is how I'd describe it.

If you can afford it then that's your choice. I wouldn't choose to do that and I don't have to like it ar appreciate it and that's my choice. I'm not going to go tell they person that they are foolish for doing that but if they ask if I like it I'm not going to lie and tell them it looks great either. JMHO

I agree completely! It would be a boring world if everyone loved and hated the exact same things in life!

Just like the kids who do up the compact cars. You don't have to like em, but maybe appreciate the work.

I see those a lot in west Texas. I'm thinking they don't pull much of anything heavy. Maybe the farm trailer sometimes.

Around my part of Texas you see most of the grocery getter 1/2 tons lifted with those stupid wheel offsets ensuring the sides of the beds on the trucks are full of stone chips/dents. I do especially hate the smoke stacks behind the cab. The trucks that use them seem to blow more black than trucks with a stock exhaust system. A pair of fuzzy dice is about as far as I go and I do have at least 3 seat covers on my bench seats; I am afraid to strip them off to look at the original seat as I suspect it ain't purdy. Guy I bought the truck from sold seat covers for a living and put good ones on but they are about shot. Maybe some saddle blanket type in my future.

We are having the "Texas Diesel Madness" at the local drag strip this weekend. Friday night and most of the day Saturday will be a rolling coal stink show, plus gee-gaw truck show displays. And a dyno where they like to break things. Sometimes the dyno. We help the track with computer work, web, Facebook, winner's pictures, track pics, etc. So that's our RV destination for the weekend LOL. 15 miles from the house, hellofa tow.
