Walkable roof

Hi, We have a new to us 2020 2200bh, and I am going to work on the roof soon and wanted to make sure it is walkable. I looked up and it shows on the website the 2021 is, but can't find anything on the 2020. Where can I look this up?

Thanks

Go to the specs section under the 3D illustrations and open "exterior". It says a fully walkable roof.

Thank you but aren't the specs listed here for the 2022?

I am trying to verify for the 2020.

That is a 2022. I can find nothing specific about the 2020 but would think they didn't completely revamp the roof in the last year or 2 (I believe the 2021 showed walkable as well).

Then there's the guideline; no roof ladder, no walkable roof and I don't believe you have one. Maybe someone has one and can chime in or use 2x2 pieces of hard foam to move around on the roof to disperse your weight.

In the 2020 Bullet brochure , it does say that the Bullet Crossfire series does have a walkable roof on page 06 .

Just google "2020 Keystone Bullet brochure" and you will find it .
(cant link it for some reason)

Here's the link for both the 2020 Bullet "eastern and western" editions.

https://keystone-rv-dealer-app.cdn.p..._dec19_web.pdf

https://keystone-rv-dealer-app.cdn.p...-Dec19-WEB.pdf

Keep in mind that Keystone has never defined what they consider to be the weight limits of a "fully walkable roof structure"... In other words, "fully walkable" for a 150 pound person is not quiet the same construction as "fully walkable" for a 300 pound person.... So, be sure to take your body weight into consideration when you read "fully walkable" in a brochure.

I found out about this guideline AFTER laying the money down from a lady on the accessories sales floor. So much for full disclosure!

I use large pieces of 1/4 inch plywood to distribute my weight. So far it has seemed to work.

When I bought my 2020 Premier 19FB I was told you can walk on the roof. In the manual I got in the RV from Keystone it specifically says:
These roofs are not designed to accommodate chairs, coolers, multiple people, etc,
only for the ease of an individual to perform routine maintenance.. They even put this disclaimer in the manual

Only RVs with factory installed ladders have walkable roofs.

The manual also does not address the weight of the "person doing the walking".. Obviously, if you weigh 125 pounds, the definition of "walkable roof" is different than if you weigh 425 pounds. What is defined as "walkable roof" is not/never "all inclusive".....

I have noticed a little delam on the side of my 2016 Passport Ultralite near the roof, and want to get up on the roof to lap seal the seams. I weigh about 150 lbs. is it safe to walk on my roof?

I had a 210rs. Due to the design a ladder was not possible but it had a walkable roof. Today there is a ladder shortage so a lot of units that normally come with ladders are not. So much for the theory that walkable roofs come with ladders.

"The exterior is formed with a NORCO HSLA steel/automotive deposition coated frame assembled with huck bolts, and the fully walkable roof has a one-piece TPO membrane."
