I see you own a 2001 2500HD. I have a 2002 2500HD(gas) with the allison transmission. Do you have any problems pulling a 34ft rv?

I pull a 2005 Copper Canyon 293FWSLS 5er with a 2001 Dodge Cummins. Trailer weighs about 11.5K, I am about 1,000# over my GVWR, but still over 1,000 UNDER my rear axle GAWR. With the Cummins no issues pulling the load, and the truck sill sits level.
Edit: Missed putting in that the rig 33' long.

I pull a 35 foot 7500 lbs loaded 35 foot Passport with a 6.0 4L80E 2500 HD.
Since you have an Allison with a gasser that mean you have the 8.1.
Depending on weight you should have no problems. Tow away!

Well the Avalanche Model 341TG is about 39' 5th wheel! You need to take into account the pin weight also, so as not to exceed GAWR and or tire rating.

That said the Avalanche has about the same GVWR as my 2005 Copper Canyon, I pull mine fine and my truck sits level, but is is a 5th so the leverage the hitch has on the truck is much less.
