RV Cover

I had purchased a $1,000.00 RV cover and someone told me if I leave it on during the winter that I might end up with a mold issue. The Class A motorhome is parked outside so does anyone have any thought on this.

Here is what I found online and copied and pasted below:

Water is one of an RV’s enemies, specifically when it’s trapped under a tarp. If condensation collects below the cover and can’t escape, it provides a breeding ground for mold and mildew. In more extreme temperatures, it can lead to freezing and cracking around the roof.

Most good RV covers will be waterproof, yet breathable. Small pores in the fabric allow moisture to evaporate without allowing water droplets in.

If you live in a windy area you'll be lucky if that $1000 cover last a year & if not tied down securely may chaff the exterior of the rv flapping in the wind.
One other consideration, are you physically able the carry a very heavy rolled cover up a ladder then wrestle it around on the roof while hopscotching all the roof protrusions 10-13' off the ground & then do it in reverse to uncover.
