Pulled the trigger on a second RV
We’ve been kicking around a second RV for travel as the Alpine is now “home” for a year or two. (Lumber prices are......well off the chart)
This is a project, we will be remodeling it a bit to get it “modern” or to our needs. Has issues but a good foundation to build on.

Congrats, the exterior looks well. Seed for. If the interior is the same, you did real good. Enjoy!!

Thanks!
One scrape on the side, in the paint so some sand/prime/Paint
Furniture is wore out, and carpet/tile will go.
There was a tub leak so sub-floor is soft and will need to be replaced as needed.
One slide has a broken gear, its a chore but doable.
Not a hard project, or too expensive, just time, which we have right now!
Batteries were 2019, tires 2018 so have some time before needed replaced

Not bad at all. Looks like appropriate wear for the age to me. Cabinets look great. Sounds like a little elbow grease and you'll have a keeper!

The price on newer ones in this size is crazy. I figured these were overbuilt at the time and depreciation is kinda peaked out.
It will be a fun project. Learn some stuff along the way.
Was super hard to find, and had to jump when it came up.

How are the mechanicals? Diesel & xmsn, etc. A lot of miles? There are two kinds of campers; those loved and used and those that sit like that exercise bike I bought a few years ago hehehe. Oh yeah, why mess with the ceramic tile? Scraping old tile is not for the faint of heart; a young guys chore.

64k on the odometer. 1300hrs on the Gen
Motor purrs, Gen as well. Fridge, AC’s, inverter all work as well.
Everything looks good, just the slide has a broke gear, so pulling only from one side
The tile is broken in places, and it had a tub leak, so subfloor has to be replaced as needed. Carpet is old as well. Just going to start with a clean, level subfloor. The newer, waterproof vinyl planks are very nice, easy to install, I did our lobby last winter at work.

Not sure I appreciate the use of ceramic tile; I would think the flooring wouldn't be stout enough to keep from flexing a bit when the pusher is underway but have no experience. I do know that I have laid ceramic through out home and when I put it in the breezeway between pantry and laundry room which is pier and beam I used heavy backer board but the flexing caused tiles to crack. As far as the plank waterproof, I used similar in my camper and they warn that it should not be used if temps get low or high (can't recall temp spread) and some of mine have slid even though they have adhesive backing and are kind of tongue and groove and there was a 1/2" gap around the edge (covered with 5/8" round). Still looks OK but if I did it again would use sheet linoleum. I filled in the spaces where there were gaps (about 1/8") with wood filler.

Most "high dollar" motorhomes have either ceramic, porcelain or marble tile flooring to go along with the "hydrophonic in floor heating". They use a "flexible grout" which doesn't break as easily as the cement grout used in S&B flooring. Typically, you'll see the tile break rather than the grout separate.
