Hi!

My wife and I just recently purchased a 2001 Cabana 1950 from a private party locally and are excited for some new adventures. This is our first camper, as we used to tent, so we're getting used to the whole, "Hey, we have a camper now" thing still.

I've already had to do some little maintenance things like re-sealing the seams, replacing a black water tank roof vent, replacing the old fridge vent, etc. but so far it has been "fun" to learn about everything with the camper.

We had a 21 1/2' Cabana many years ago. Congrats and keep a close eye on those bunk doors on each end. Those are very large openings so replace the seals at the first sign of cuts or tears, don't try to "repair" or think you can "get by" with a damaged seal. Also keep an eye on the tension on the latches for those bed fold out panels.

Like a popup, if you pack up in the rain you have to open it up asap and let the canvas dry before storing. Have fun and enjoy!
