Well after going back and fourth for sometime I finally bought a f350 DRW, little over kill with the 4:30 gears but I couldn't pass up the deal. Its going to be a long wait until Saturday to pick it up

Nice truck. I just waited 2 weeks to pick up my new truck and it was so hard but worth it in the end.

Saturday? Yikes! How do you do it? I'd be at the lot every day walking around it, sitting in it..... Tell them to kick it in gear - you want it sooner rather than later

I'm an impatient person but ordered 1 (one) new vehicle in my life because I thought I could wait for EXACTLY what I wanted. Naw, didn't work. After 3 weeks (the truck was on the assembly line; or so they said) I told the sales guy to cancel it because I wasn't going to wait. He didn't give me any trouble because I bought a lot of vehicles from him and the dealership. Ended up back on the lot with a vehicle that was there when I ordered. All that to say...how do you do it?

Great looking truck and I know you are excited. Good luck and have fun with it.

I drove almost 2 hours to see this one as it was the only dealer around with any f350 DRW trucks in stock. Since it needs to be plated commercial in Ma, I couldn't take it last weekend, but dealer called last night anytime I want it is now ready. too bad I have one of those things called a JOB so I cant just jump in the truck and drive the 2 hours back.

I can make the week, but couldn't do it if I had to order one, local dealer was going to order me one 10-12 weeks. in that time period I would have chewed my hands off waiting! besides I ended up getting more options for less, it wasn't my first choice of colors, but it was the wife's first choice and I needed a change form all black.

Nice Rig. Problem now is that its capable of towing most anything out there. Good luck resisting the bigger trailer urge. Enjoy and safe travels to you.

For someone that lives in the south-central, this is unfathomable.

A lot of our dealers are "truck dealers"... and have just a few token cars LOL

I did think about waiting for the 2017, but I only see the price going one direction...up! and this vehicle is going to be with me for a while so being a 2016 I hope ford has most of the bugs worked out by now, my 2011 had only one little issue in all of its 100k miles which was a warranty issue.

Yes, living in the northeast sucks if you want a big truck, sadly the lots are filled with $64k F150's and short bed super duties. I wasn't trading my long bed in for one and figured why not go all in and have no more weight concerns when towing.

Nice truck...DRW's are hard to find in stock down here. They sell them pretty fast to farmers and contractors.

Up here in the northeast they don't seem to stock them or anything with a long bed, so when we found a dealer that had a few fully loaded we jumped in the truck and made the 2 hour drive.
