We always stop about an hour from our destination to turn on generator to run a/c to have it cool when we get to campground,Well last week we stopped in Lumberton Nc. to fuel up I started generator and turned a/c on somewhere between there and Myrtle Beach the generator cut off ,it started back up and ran fine before I hooked to campground power, when we got home yesterday I started the generator and let it run for 3 hours with both a/cs on run fine anyone have a clue what happened . . Thanks for any help.

Also, if the unit has a oil level sensor and the oil level is even just a little low, it could be sensing low oil.

Not sure what type of generator you are using, but the Onan in our motorhome would sometimes overheat and shut down (air flow problems) if we were driving with a tailwind. It didn't happen often, but seems that it was always on the hottest days when we really needed the coach air to keep things cool.
