2012 Passport 2890RL TV Mounting

I just purchased a 2012 Passport and I noticed there is no TV shelf or mount in the bedroom. Before I start drilling holes in the wall between the bathroom and bedroom, is there a backer board in that wall or do I need to dust off my stud finder?

TV Mount

We have the exact same year & model Passport. I took the light switch out of the bathroom and was able to locate the stud & determine the thickness of the wall. We mounted a bracket to the wall, but do not travel with the TV on the wall. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I hadn't thought about the switch.

Got the 2015 2890RL model. Same problem. Jack for cable and plug for outlet in corner side by side, but no indication where to mount plate. Shower on other side so missing stud and drilling too far would be a disaster. New direction - thinking of using coat hangers for sliding bedroom door and hanging tv on hooks. (24" tv weighs 8 lbs so that shouldn't be a problem.) Of course, will take tv off when well traveling. Any thoughts?
