Closed captioning

I can't get my closed captioning to turn off. I go to the settings and turn it off, but it is still there. I have the iRV system.

If you're referring to captions when watching TV (rather than when playing DVD) there should be a button on your TV remote that says CC that lets you cycle through the different closed caption options. If TV remote doesn't have one, use the menu button on TV remote to go into settings.

That would be in the menu set up for the DVD.

There is a button on your iRV remote labeled "Sub-T". This is an annoyance of mine with this unit. EVERY time we watch a DVD it defaults to showing sub-titles. If anyone figures out how to make it stop, please share.
