Stereo

2012 Keysone Fuzion with Jensen radio, the dang thing turns on when ever it wants to. Anyone had this problem? Pulled up to a stop light and heard a stereo blasting and realized it was my outside speakers. Every time i move the trailer it turns itself on

There has been several postings about this issue, sounds like you may have an alarm set. Do a search and you should be able to find the postings.

Good luck,

Ha. Yup. Alarm clock feature.

Luckily mine decided to fire up at midnight on 4 acres...

I'm thinking the blue light will be annoying if anyone attempts to sleep back there, so I'm going to add a power kill switch in the cabinet for the power feed to the stereo.

I don't care if the clock is right, nor do I usually feel the need to know what time it is, when camping.

The Jensen wall mount stereo system used in most RV's has an intensity adjustment on the face "backlight." Check your owner's manual, there is a procedure to dim the backlight or even to turn it off.

Will check. I'm a techie so I can usually find this stuff just by playing around but that stereo is pretty awful on user interface...

Thanks for the hint.

Thank you for the response's. It is not my alarm clock feature. I will turn it off stand there for 30 seconds and it will kick back on. I did do a search prior to posting this thread.

The interface on the Jenson is horrible but once you figure it out it's not too bad. This sounds like your alarm and it'll be a pia until you reset it.
You need to set it to a time then turn it off or it'll turn on whenever it wants to.

Turns out mine is the Estone 8500. Still haven't figured out a way to dim it. Heh.
