You may have split the axles on different plates. Sounds like you had drive axle and front trailer axle on the same plate.
To get correct weights, you must have steer on one plate, drive on one plate and trailer axles on separate plate.

Hope this helps

Thanks! The second plate looked really long... Like 40 or 50ft? I thought my rear wheels to my f250 was close to the front of the second plate... And the 5er was on the same plate.

I question the clerk on the inside, and she said some rv's ask for separate weights ... The weigh it, then you drive the front axle off and the weight it ... Axel by axel??

You could do that. Just have to do some math.
You can always hang back from the speaker to get axles right on scales.
Just have to JUMP to hit the button!! The. Run back and get in the truck or your weight will not be distributed properly. Probably not a big deal there tho

Before you push the call button it is a good idea to get out and make sure you are positioned correctly to get the weights you want.. Normally you want the steering axle on one scale plate, the drive axle on another and the trailer axles on yet another.. If this isn't possible the next best is to have both truck axles on one plate and the trailer axles on another...
As a note the short bed pickups do make it difficult to get split weights on each axle and trailer axles on another plate but it can be done with a little effort.

If you have to get out of the pickup to push the button (carry a 3 foot long stick) just tell the weigh master to give you a minute to get back in the pickup, they usually don't mind unless they're stacked up at the scale.. I generally try not to weigh when the scale is busy...

Now you can can cross check this with axle ratings and see how you stack up. I think my 250 has a 6100 pound rear axle. If the camper is ready to camp, ie food, clothes, propane and such, looks like you will be ok. If you have to add all that plus passengers, might be iffy.
