Westmoreland State Park VA

Just wanted toss out a recommendation for Westmoreland State Park, VA. The DW and I stayed there this past weekend and had a great time. We plan on returning again this season.

Pro's: Lots of trails and geocaches (another hobby of mine). The fossil beach s very neat - we found several fossilized sharks teeth. Also, George Washington's birthplace and Lee's family home are nearby and worth a visit.

Cons: Only down side is that those of you with larger units may not fit here. I saw only a few large sites (pull through).

We really enjoy the VA state parks. Just thought I would share
