Where's Your Next Trip?

Enjoying our maiden voyage with the new Cougar at Matagorda Bay Nature Preserve on the Texas coast. Drizzley, foggy, cool day on the road yesterday, but the sun is shining brightly today and a great seafood lunch hit the spot jus' right.

So when & where's your next trip?

Scratch sends...

Myrtle Beach, end of this month for maiden voyage.

Then if all goes well, and the tires stayed on, well go to Williamsburg, VA (not far from home) for a weekend soon thereafter, then Gettysburg,PA to cash in a Christmas gift segway tour of the battlefield. Just weekends planned thereafter until Christmas, and it's off to Orlando and Disney for a week!
did I give "TMI" ? lol

I love Valley of Fire State Park - we had an awesome time there. So beautiful
and not a danged thing anywhere near it!..........Awesome views, hiking and quiet ! Love it -

Okay, back to the question - We are going to Mistletoe State Park, in Appling, GA next week. Never been there. It is on Strom Thurmond lake.....

JustLKN,

Where you staying up there?
The last time we went we stayed at the Alvaco(?) Church parking lot. about a one mile from speeway. it was nice walk from the parking lot to bristol speedway but on race day they shuttle you to the front door at bristol.
Enjoy your stay..and the race!

Possibly a couple of days at a local campground in the middle of April to shake out the cobwebs. First scheduled trip is to Spring Mill State Park in Mitchell, Indiana over Memorial Day Weekend.
