Camping Racine, WI

For all those in the Milwalkee / South East Wisconsin / Nort Eat Illinois area I highly recommend Cliffside Country Park in Caldonia, WI.

I work in Racine and usally commute from Aurora, IL (95 miles each way) 3days a week.

the DW and I used Cliffside fro our shake down cruise with our new TT and foudn the park to be very nice. Quiet mostly (a few jets overhead coming in and out of Mitchell in Milwalkee depending on wind direction). Site are large. Gravel pads to park on, and nice grass with fire pits in each campsite. Nice trees and plantings to give some site privacy. Sites are abck-ins however are set at an angle so backing in is an easy 35 to 45 degree turn. Several fo the site woudl be great for a group setting withbeing to each others off side.

Electric or water / electric sites. We used a water / electric site andpaid @23 a night + reservation fee.

We are definitely planning on staying there again.
