locking a surge protector

Preparing for upcoming months in the RV I bought a surge protector.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to secure it at the campground (lock it down) to foil any sticky fingers ....not that such hang out at campgrounds...LOL.
Camping world and others have a big plastic box like thing for about 25.00 and I am not so cheap as to avoid buying one but wondered if anyone here has any less costly ideas of how to secure the unit ...??

I use a padlock so I can loop then lock my trailer's power cord to the stub cord that comes out of my Surge Guard. Now the Surge Guard is locked to my trailer's power cord.

This has been posted previously. At someone's suggestion I made a steel locking cable that tightly circles the surge protector cord and can be secured to the power supply source. PM me and I will pass it along.
