How to switch tow vehicles.....

Am changing from a Tundra to a GMC Sierra 3500HD. Hensley sent the tow bar with the hitch and my dealer installed everything.....so I really don't know how to set up the new tow vehicle other than to put the tow bar in the new truck and hook everything up.

How do I determine if I need a different tow bar (more drop) or if all is OK as is?

Measure the distance from the bottom of the receiver on the old and new trucks. Then look at this link: http://hensleymfg.com/hitch-bar-exchange/

If that doesn't give you enough direction, then I suggest that you give Hensley a call.
