I See Blue LIghts Everywhere!
At some point all the travel trailer manufacturers felt putting blue lights throughout the cabin was a feature folks wanted. I personally have not developed a taste for the blue lights and see no sense in them. Anyone have a theory why the blue lights came into trailer cabins? I know Keystone does things that make little sense and add unneeded complexity to functions that are not all that difficult but the whole industry seems to have gone blue light. WHY?

What blue LED overload? step into a Grand Designs Momentum
Lights inside and outside, and with "One Control" you can make them change colors for even more mind bending experience WITHOUT the use of pharmaceuticals!

My theory is this, since the demise of K Mart there's a segment of the community to see the blue light and feel "special".

Well, I "think" in theory, if you have a white night light it will interfere with one's sleep. If you put a blue one in it's place, it won't affect your sleep. .
Or, maybe Keystone choose the blue color because it's more of a calming factor than normal white. Great idea, really, especially after stressing out to back into the campsite with everyone watching you!

My guess would be that when Keystone made the "product purchase for interior lighted switches" the red ones were slightly more expensive, the green ones were on back order and the blue ones were immediately available in 1 million unit purchase blocks for 3 cents cheaper than the red ones... So, "a new designer trend" was born.... In 3 years, when the production line runs out of "blue lights from the current contract" if orange switches are cheaper, another "new designer trend" will appear on the market....
Notice that Furrion, Dometic, Atwood and Coleman are all "following the designer trend" by introducing "blue illuminated dials and gauges" on their products..... In 3 years when the orange ones are cheaper, it's going to be a "dealership nightmare" to keep track of which model trailers require which color Furrion range lighted knobs.... Technology !!! Yeah, you betcha' by golly, eh !!!!!
