Stereo
Well, this happened on our last TT and now started on our SRX..... The stereo started turning on by itself! Had to go out the other night in the cold and turn it off..... Heard it from our bedroom it was so loud... hope my neighbors are not tweek'd! Going to look for the breaker that turns of the power to the unit, other than that I don't have a clue how to keep the thing from turning on by itself.

Since it has happened with two different trailers (and presumably two different models of radios?) I am wondering if a remote control from one of the homes around it might be reaching in and turning it on accidentally.

Check the 'timer' on the stereo.....
There's a similar discussion here: "radio comes on by itself"

Happy trails, Terri

The dealer just replaced my radio because of the same issue. They also said that jenson had a programing issue with the weather alerts which can aslo make the radio come on on its own. My radio would come on and loop between the radio and load usb. God luck.

Exactly the same issue jje1960... The first time it happened was about 3 in the morning came on set to a high pitched static radio station. I must have hit the ceiling woke me out of a dead sleep. Happened a few other times but I made a point of turning the volume down to zero and turning off all the a,b,c speaker buttons. It is a pain because it drains the battery sitting on when not In use. I too discovered the loud music playing in it one night as I got home from work. I thought maybe some was having a party I wasn't invited to.. =)
I just had the 325srx in for warranty claims just as it expired. The radio was one item replaced they didn't even blink an eye, said it was common replacement..
First I heard of a timer setting, I will have to look closer at my unit now but I would expect keystone would alert the dealer to check that first before approving sight unseen a radio replacement..

It's not so much a "timer function" that causes it to turn on at "ungodly" times. It's the alarm function. There's a built in alarm clock on the Jensen radios and on most others as well. When you turn the tuning knob, that little button your finger "almost hits" every time is the alarm set button. Easy to touch that button and not even know it.... At least until that "ungodly" time tick/tocks around......

Don't try to pin that award on your chest and keep it all to yourself. Every one of us can lay claim to a few days of wearing that award!!!!!
