California Toy Hauling???
Just curious where everybody goes with toy haulers in and around Northern California? We have dirt bikes and such but have only found a hand full of parks to go to... that really pop up on the internet. Looking for parks that can fit a 39' 5er is a little bit of an issue sometimes.
The parks dont have to be dirt bike parks, just looking for good spots all around CA. So lets see where you guys have been!

Bucks Lake, near Quincy, was always one of my favorites, but you might be more successful in NV.

My guess would be most of the toy haulers will be found in Pismo Beach / Arroyo Grande, the Mojave Desert, Dumont Dunes, or Glamis. The folks up north probably head for Coos Bay.

Are you looking for parks with hook ups? or boodbocking. If you are looking for full hookup parks that you can ride out of good luck. If you are looking for a place to take your trailer out to the woods and park and ride, there are plenty. Once you hit the National Forest you can disperse camp anywhere. I have only explored places like Mammoth, PiPi/Gold Note/Caldor trail system, Prosser/Boca, etc. Places near me in the Sierra. At this time I have little interest in places like Pismo and the desert, so I stick to mountain/woods riding.

Awesome responses! A lot of these places we have not heard of. As far as what we are looking for... dry camping and also curious for some hook up camp grounds to see where people go with large 5er's.

Prairie City
Have you been to the Prairie City OHV park near Folsom? There should be places nearby that could handle your rig.

There is no overnight camping at PC. After 3 hours there you have seen it all and are ready to leave anyways. Hollister OHV has overnight camping if you are into OHV parks. There is little to no camping around Folsom unless you count Beals Point at the lake, but there is no OHV riding there.

OHV Parks
If you haven't done so already, check out the CA OHV website for a list of parks and details about their available amenities...
