If you have the Weber but not the stand, you might have one of these around:

Lookey what he can do!

Even if you don't it is a few bucks cheaper than the Weber stand and multi-purpose! http://www.amazon.com/Deluxe-High-St.../dp/B004GQOS0W

I like my Weber 110 a lot but I really miss the charcoal flavor. Last weekend I went to Walmart and got a Weber Smokey Joe on sale for $68. Home Depot had Kingsford charcoal 2 bags 20lb each for $10.

So in two weeks I'll be fishing for a week and bbqing every night at the Kern River.

Pick up a bag of lump charcoal. It'll add some serious flavor and you don't need as much.

BTW sounds like a fun trip!

Was it a "Jumbo Joe" http://www.walmart.com/ip/Weber-18-J...Grill/21928087 ???

or a regular Smoky Joe (Silver), http://www.walmart.com/ip/Weber-147-...ingMethod=p13n ???

or ... the up scale Smoky Joe (Gold), http://www.walmart.com/ip/Weber-Smok...ingMethod=p13n ???

I switched to a Cobb Grill last year and haven't looked back since...

Might not be big enough for a family, but cooking for one or two, it works great.

Same here. Works like a champ.

My bro-in-law bought one and took it back. Unlike the Weber Q, sustained flames inside during burgers and chicken. Ugly. He bought a Q and loves it.
