Dishwasher added?

So before anyone says anything, I know it's not camping. That said has anyone added the mod of a dishwasher? We send a lot of time at the lake in our camper and it would give us more time on the water doing what ever, than having to do dishes. The new units coming out of Keystone have the washer as an option. Our unit is the Alpine 3555RL 2011.

Terry & Carol,

Adding a dishwasher isn't a common mod, but it has been discussed a few times.

Use the 'search' function [see blue bar, near top of page], and type in the word: dishwasher
There were several posts available to read, including those by folks who may be (former or) less active members.

Hope this helps,
Terri, the Chevy co-pilot

Paper Plates & Plastic Utensils

Use paper plates and plastic utensils and grill outside.

I was going to post a pic of my dishwasher but she's sleeping
I'm not a fan of disposable dishes and cutlery as at some point it'll be an environmental issue.

I bought a "counter top" unit that holds a good bit and will even clean pots. It works in my Springdale with the rear kitchen since the TT has alot of counter space. One plan for the spring will be to per install it in the lower sink cabinet.

RVing in general is anti-environmental.

But I'm OK with it because I work for a big evil oil company.

Yeah I hear you I used buy the oil trucks from Alberta and ship em to B.C for resale and some of what I saw going on in the fields would make tree huggers flip. Too bad they're too wimpy to handle the cold and protest
In about a week I have a composting toilet showing up and my goal is to have a set up that doesn't affect the environment at all.
Except firewood but trees are meant to be burnt, it's a camping thing

Would you post pics when you get this done? I would really like to get one installed. I hate using paper plates and would rather have a quick clean up that a dishwasher provides.

Thanks,
