AC incoming power to Main breakers in RV service panel check

Quick and easy method to trouble shoot your AC source voltage coming from RV Park power pedestal to the inside of your RV..

Some RVs have on board generator with transfer switch so if you have this you will have to locate transfer switch for trouble shooting that area..

Intent here is to just show how you can quickly verify if you have power into the RV from the Park power pedestal.

This check would be done if you have verified power source at pedestal is good and that your shore power cable is good.. and are having NO AC power inside the RV...

Safety.... you are working with live AC circuit so understand the safety aspects before doing this test.

Tests and pics are from my 2014 Alpine fifth wheel 50 amp power service panel

I had a Watchdog "smart" surge protector installed our TH. The Bluetooth function allows real time voltages and power consumption. Handy for situations like this and also monitoring consumption when on a 30 amp only site.
