Are you talking about installing a dish in the roof, or just being able to,watch satellite TV?

I’ve had zero, issues since day one with my carry out dish and my coax in the trailer.

Apologies for the bad typing! I have a winegard carryout dish which is locked onto the satelite. However, if i connect my coax cable to satellite prep outlet i don't get anything but if i run the cable direct to my receiver i get satellite. Suggestions?

I would start by verifying that the SAT IN coax actually goes to the coax your using inside to the the reciever. There are cheap coax testers at most big box hardware stores. The tester will also tell you if the coax is shorted out or the center conductor isn’t working.

Thank you chuckster57 your response gave me the courage to tackle the satellite! My sat cable no longer runs thru my door - yahhhh! And i have satellite on the living room tv. Now to read more on other tvs. Nothing on bedroom tv and only resort cable on outdoor kitchen tv. At least it is a start

I’m glad I could help. Unless there is separate SAT in’s for the other TV’s you won’t get sat. Sat signsl requires bidirectional splitters and to my knowledge they aren’t installed at the factory.
