Solar Wiring

I have a 2015 Carbon 357 toy hauler, does anyone know if this model is wired for solar panels?

If it is there will ba a covered plug on the front drivers side wall (probably). It will be to trickle charge the battery at best only.

I was not impressed with any of the solar wiring mine came with or even that some of the solar kits come with. Might be a good idea to just run new heavier gauge wire regardless and perhaps required depending upon how big a system going with.

Most factory solar is 10A at best, like said before good for maintaining a charged battery. Depending on what you want to accomplish, a single or multiple panels mounted on the roof would do much better.

Let us know what your wanting to accomplish and we can recommend the proper amount of panels.

I ended up wiring new solar. It has kept the battery charged since I installed them, even have a wireless camera inside running off usb so I can keep an I on the trailer. Will go to a festival this week-end so that will be the best test. Didn't bother with the factory installed solar.
