Not sure how I survived without them.

I have this grill and replaced the regulator with a quick-connect fitting and a 10 foot hose, that plugs into the fitting at the back of the camper.
I also bought 2 of these folding tables.

I also added a second quick-connect fitting to the trailer, so I could use the grill and the outdoor kitchen cook-top at the same time.

If I see a few real life posts here that say that your comment really works I'm in.

Yes, you can run "all of those things" but definitely NOT at the same time. Your 2K Yamaha is 2000 watts surge and 1600 watts continuous. 1600 watts at 120 volts is 13.3 Amps.

If you do the calculations, you'll see that based on the battery charge condition, your converter can pull up to 500 watts, the refrigerator can pull up to 175 watts (for the heating element) plus 12 volts at 1.3 amps for the control board, TV about 150 watts, the microwave about 1300 watts, the coffee maker 1500 watts, hair dryer 1500 watts and that doesn't include any lights, fans, etc you might have on.

So, just like plugging your trailer into a 15 amp wall socket, you are critically limited when running off a 2K generator that produces 13.3 amps. Can you run the A/C, probably, but not if you're also running the refrigerator on shore power and if the converter is charging the batteries from a "near discharged condition".... If you're going to run your A/C (even with a micro-aire system) you'll never be able to turn on the microwave, coffee pot or a hair dryer while the A/C is in operation. To do so will "light that little red overload light" on the generator and shut it down.

This is a direct quote from the Micro-Aire website:
"There are still more considerations to take into account. How you will use the generator is just as important. The above mentioned generators are working above their 13.3 amp rating to run an air conditioner. Don’t expect to add any other loads to a single generator while the air conditioner is running.

This means you may need to turn off any powered appliances including the battery charger and refrigerator. Easy solution is to buy a bigger generator but that means more cost and weight. Most people just make do with the limitations, it is camping after all!"

Not all at the same time. But yes. Turn off the air to make a pot of coffee. DW can blow dry her hair when the pot is off. Then the AC can run with TV, radio, converter, lights etc. I prefer to run propane for the refer anyway. It is easier on the generator and cools better. But have the small fridge in the outdoor entertainment center connected.
Should I do a YouTube video?

Send the DW out to dry her hair from the exhaust of the genset. It's a "green" solution!

That's funny! Don't think she would go for it though.

I bought this kit from amazon and used the valve as the second port on the camper and had to buy an adapter from Home Depot to connect the fitting to the pipe the regulator was on, since they were both male fittings and different sizes.

Let me know if you have any questions.
