Adding 110vac receptacle question about wire type

Would you just use home type romex 14/2 (15Amp) or some other wire? Want to add some with usb ports in the bunk areas. Thanks.

If your adding 110VAC outlets then use Romex. If your adding USB ports then you want stranded wire and connect to the 12VDC circuit. If the USB and 110 are on the same receptacle and only use one type of wire I would use the Romex.

If any of the wiring is going to be exposed to wet road conditions by running it under the trailer to get to where you are putting the outlet, just remember, Romex (Type NM wire) is not rated for a wet environment. If that's the case, use a SO or SOW or extension cord type wire that is rated for wet conditions. If your wiring run will be such that it doesn't see wet conditions, then Romex type wire is fine.
