New towel bars

The hook on the back of our bathroom door just doesn't cut it. It is too small to hang more than one towel, and it doesn't hold the towel well so it often ends up on the floor.

We visited our first IKEA in May and bought two 23.25 inch towel bars, model 302.020.92. The door opening is 24 inches, so I figured this would work perfectly (and the DW liked the design). Silly me! The towel bar projects out from the door a couple of inches, so it would rub the door frame when opened. (I figured this out with a dry fit before drilling any mounting holes.) Thus the DW consented to mount the towel bars on the other side of the door, facing the living space. I made sure the bars would not interfere with the refrigerator door (immediately to the left of the bathroom door) and used hollow wall anchors to secure the towel bars to the door. She's quite happy now. A photo is attached.
