RV Air Filters

Anyone else use these? RVAir.com. They are now available at Walmart for $12 for my Coleman Mach with the 2 slim side return openings.
Also had the squared Dometic version and another Coleman square version.

Our mesh gets dirty fairly quick. It's easy to clean but we both have allergies. Plus we have pets which add to the dander and such. Either of us have pet allergies.

So this replaces the plastic frame mesh with a 2-stage floppy filter. A little thick but compresses easy. Not much room in the Mach filter location plus the snap tabs on the Coleman grill are minimal. So it took a little bit of fanagling to get it to stay.

Overall I guess we shall see how good it does or not.
Anyone else use it?

We bought one from Amazon at the beginning of this season. It's been working extremely well. When I saw them at WalMart I bought two more. So, yes, I've got about 4 months use so far and I like the performance.

They are a "bit bulky" and in my Dometic 15K, they do "bulge the filter door, but it stays in place and other than me looking at it because it's not like it used to be, it's working and holding the filter well.

Awesome. Yea , one side bulges and other doesn't. So far has t popped off. More has to do with the weak design of the filter cover. I think on a trip it may pop off. But, I have a fix for that in mind. Gonna buy another set for the rear AC.
