Swing out hand rail

Just purchase a 2008 Keystone sprinter BHS. Upgraded from a PUP. Question is would it be okay to try and mount one of those swing out hand rails where the little handle is at the door? Those few steps are a killer on this wounded veteran!! Any help would be appreciated.

Swing out hand rail

Welcome to the forum!

Adding an assist handle is easy. Leave the little handle in place and just put the top pivot just above the top of the handle. That way you won't have holes to fill from removing the little one. We do it all the time at work.

Re: Swing out hand rail

I relocated the little handle. Made the bottom hole the new top hole. Drilled for new bottom hole.
For the big swing handle the old top hole is now the the top hole and drilled a new bottom hole.
