2016 Bullet HW bypass

Where in the world is the HW bypass and water pump in a 2016 keystone bullet 272bhs?

Been searching everywhere

I think your 272 is similar to my Passport 2810. It's probably under the bottom bunk.

Look outside for your hot water tank. It's inside on the back of it. I had to remove panels with a screw driver to reach it. I wish my Bullet was like my old Jayco. Hot water bypass and water pump were easily accessible without pulling anything apart.

Re: 2016 Bullet HW bypass

I have the 2017 272BHSWE and I found the Hot Water Heater Bypass access in the rear storage.

There was a cut out leading to underneath the bunkbed, then I was able to remove that small cutout and reach the single valve that bypasses the water heater and sends cold water right back down the hot water lines.

When I checked under the bunkbed mattress, the bed frame/wood was securely fastened and i would need to damage/cut/ruin the bunkbed to gain access to water heater valves...

Assume there is that newer one-way flow switch built into these models so, a single turn to open/close the valve...
