2014 Fuzion 342 Level up problems
I am having issues with my 2014 Fuzion 342. The 6 point level up system specifically.
When the trailer has been sitting for a few days and I go to pin back up the front landing gear hasn't been lifting the trailer. Yesterday i had to keep lowering the front jacks in a desperate attempt to get them to cycle properly and lift the front of the trailer back up. Rear jacks work fine, no issues. Voltages are good @13.2, oil level is good, no oil leaks, pump works fine for all other jacks. Has anyone had this happen before? Also on a side note this was a while back but when the trailer was parked the front jacks let the front of the trailer lower all the way down... that has only happened once.
Could it be solenoid issues??
TIA

Hmm, sounds like a faulty valve. Perhaps not closing completely. Debris in system or a bad valve.

Has this same issue on my 2020 raptor. It’s only let the front down once and doesn’t do it constantly. It also makes clicking noises after leveling. Gonna have to wait for something to break so the dealer can warranty but it sure is a pain in the *** when it happens. Yesterday while towing it home the passenger side jack came down about a foot. Luckily I was just about home but there are definitely some issues in the system

Just to be clear, are you trying to manually lift the trailer with the front jacks ??? If so, are the rear jacks fully UP before using the front jacks???
If the rear jacks are down, the trailer can't "pivot on the axles" so your front jacks are trying to lift the entire weight of the fifth wheel, not just the front "pin weight"....
Maybe this doesn't apply to your situation, but worth mentioning.....

I have had the front jack driver side come down as well while going the highway, I caught is as well. It would be really crappy to have that catch or make contact while driving. I have considered drilling a hole in the pad and putting a chain with a quick link or something like that just to ensure it cannot drop, it would be a cheap easy way to ensure peace of mind.

I do believe the 2 front legs are rated at #8000 each, the 4 rears at #3500 each. Mine have zero problems picking up my 19000# fuzion lol

That's why I asked what I did. If the front legs are rated at 16K for the pair and the rear legs are down, the front legs are going to be lifting the entire 19K, 3000 pounds more than they are rated. In that situation, I'd be afraid that either the rear jacks are going to buckle or the front jacks are going to stall out trying to lift 25% more than their combined rating.

In the two front LG one side will have a solenoid valve.. the two LG are operated in tandem with hyd pressure.. if the solenoid valve is stuck closed then when pump runs it can’t provide hyd pressure to opposite side of ram cylinders to extend..
Also since you indicate you found the LG fully retraced after sitting a few days you could have either air in the system or more likely one of the two LG is bypassing internally
Pic is the solenoid for front LG.. use 1/8 inc( Allen wrench and makes sure the valve is closed all the way... if the manual over ride screw on the solenoid is not tight it will allow hyd fluid to bypass thus letting the gear retract.

Thank you very much for the repsonse!! I will check this out. Of course the front LG has worked flawlessly this last week, but I will still double check that solenoid.
Cheers
