At two different dealers for about 10 hours today. Spent a lot of time researching and while all the big three have great offerings in gas and diesel ,I’m gonna stick with diesel for now because it’s what I know. I’m glad I went with the 8’ bed now. I think it will be good for what I need

On my ram for 2020 it says no break in for engine under normal conditions ,but don’t tow anything for first 500 miles. Then it says for the first 500 miles of towing a trailer do not tow over 50 miles an hour to let the axles and other components as well as the engine to all break in under load together..glad you mentioned it

We have a 2016 and 5,411# payload on the sticker, but we carry a bit in the truck and ready to tow it scales 10,000#, so can carry a 4,000# pin.

The black on black kinds grew on me. I wasn’t a fan at first but I really like the looks and if I get tired of it I can always get a set of polished Alcoa’s. Has the air suspension and 50 gallon tank and a bunch of other stuff I didn’t necessarily need but glad I got. I originally didn’t want the air suspension but after researching I def wanted it. Has surround cameras and blind spot trailer warnings. The surround camera is awesome. Overhead view is really nice. Don’t know about long term relatability but we will see

Adaptive cruise control might be good while towing in traffic. Will see...supposed to automatically apply brakes both trailer and truck if a problem. And freaked me out driving last night lol has lane departure control. When activated it puts a little toque to steering wheel to alert you that your drifting over. Originally thought it was the icy roads and front end slipping. Will take awhile to get used to that if I use it. Went back to dealer this morning and pulled my slider hitch out of my old truck. Need to sell that I guess.

Brian where did you get the truck? I ask because it seemed to me when I was looking that the blackout look, which is a package, was very popular here in the E while back home you don't see many. Is it new? It's a big, good looking truck and I'm sure you will get many years of use out of it......and, the days of trying to calculate weights every time you add a bag of sugar will be gone. Congrats.

Nice looking truck!
I've always been a GM guy, but in the last few years FCA & Ram trucks have really stepped up their game to one of the best looking trucks out there at still somewhat reasonable prices.
Ford & GM need to step up as well, especially in the price department or they'll be number 2 & 3 in the truck market (your choice on which is which).

Purchased at Keene dodge in jarrettsville md. Yeah it’s a different look. I did not like at all at first. But it did grow on me. Really like it now and thanks!

Nice looking truck! I hope you enjoy washing and waxing. Our F150 King Ranch is black and I love the look but whew it's a lot of work keeping it clean.
