We went with a 13,500 dometec. Kinda wish we had coughed up the extra $$ for a lower profile, it's a tight fit under our awning. Other then that, no issues so far. It's great on a summer day

I wish the second one i added had a thermostat control instead of the manual. It's a Carrier V and other than the manual control it's great.

I added a Dometic? Penguin 13,500 in our bedroom. I did not have a thermostat installed but don't care. We like to sleep cold and all you have to do is set the AC thermostat and go to sleep. For cooling the rest of the trailer when it's hot we just turn it up and put a fan in the door to the bedroom and we cool down quick.

We went with the dometic 15k I think it was $1000 bucks insyallex by camping world. That was suggested by javi and worked perfect in 120 degree havasu heat with 10 people

I went with a Dometic 13.5, to match the 15K in the main living space. The fifth wheel was prewired. I completed the install myself. Saved about $600 that Camping world wanted to charge. Took about 3-4 hours, and that was from removing existing vent to operational check.

We have a ducted 13.5K in the main living that came with our Laredo. We were given a used but in very good shape Duo Therm 13.5k non ducted. All we had to do was buy a new shroud for it. The original was busted up. New $10 camco gasket from Amazon and 4 hrs of my time and we were in business. Very easy to install ourselves.
