2011 upholstery problems

New to site and appreciate the info I have already learned reading the forum. I recently purchased a used 2011 Raptor 300 MP. Although I'm afraid I am finding several little things that others have commented on my biggest concern is that the dark brown (Canyon Interior) is loosing it's finish. At first I thought it was the Florida heat or sun but the lighter leather material looks like it is still new. It is all the dark brown leather material throughout even the window valances. Bought it halfway planning on putting in new sofa but looks like this could really escalate.
Thanks for any info. I will try to attach photo

The back cushions should be removable. If so, take them to a upholstery shop and have your wife pick out what she likes. No reason to need the same color or style. If you need to redo the whole couch, I would buy a new one. Anything with upholstery should be removable for repair or replacement, you need to find the attachment points.

All of it comes off and all can be redone. You could try cleaning and treating with an upholstery treatment. It'd be worth a try first.

It is actually the finish of the material itself. It just crumbles if touched or rubbed. And it is bizarre that it is only the dark brown. The tan is just as soft and pliable as you could want. It is also wherever there is this material, even where the window valances are wrapped with it. It almost had to be a manufacturing defect with this lot of material.

Cream upholstery is probably standard vinyl, dark stuff is probably "bonded leather". Just google bonded leather and then open up your wallet and replace all that junk if it bothers you.
