Hello from Bend Oregon

Hello fellow campers. I wanted to introduce myself. Our family just picked up a 2021 Keystone Passport 240bhwe and we are beyond excited! Our two little girls miss it everyday we aren't in it. I'll be looking to you all for advice, tips, tricks and technical support. Thanks again.

Jesse and family!

Thanks for joining the forum. You will find a lot of great advice here. It’s really nice that your daughters love camping so much. Some of our fondest memories are camping with our kids.

Jesse, welcome to the forum. You certainly live in a beautiful part of the country. We stopped while driving through some time ago and met our friends at I believe was the Sparrow Bakery. While there we dropped about a week's pay as I remember, but also bought a poppy seed baguette that we had with Brenda's lasagna that night. Both were excellent! (Truth be known, since we were on the road, Brenda's lasagna was probably Stouffer's Italiano...)

Welcome aboard! We love central Oregon. We have good friends who live in Bend and we have camped every summer for the past 25 years at Prineville Reservoir State Park.

Welcome aboard to the OP and family. Great memories to be made!

The Sisters area is great camping area, just don't take a camp trailer down the old highway that takes you to the observatory. It will seem fine for a while until you get to the first switchback. We tent camped down near the middle once and it was the most peaceful camping we ever experiienced. Really nice campground near the hoo doo ski area as well, that one is on RV friendly roads. Amazing views of Mt Washington.

from SC. I remember when we first started camping back in 1998, our two girls told their mom, "dad takes us on the best adventures." Congratulations on your purchase, safe camping and make many happy memories.

Welcome and congrats on the new camper! Our first rig was a Passport 2400 in 2017 and we loved every minute of it. You'll get to make memories that will last a lifetime with your family, don't take that for granted.
And my 2 cents.. enjoy the whole process - planning, packing, traveling, CAMPING, and the return legs. Involve the whole family and you will find it so much more rewarding if you approach RVing from that perspective.
Hope you have smooth roads ahead!
