Question Broken Bunkhouse Glass Window

Was wondering if anyone has experienced an unexpected bunkhouse window shattering?

I have a brand new Cougar and this is the second time getting it out to go camping. We went from sea level to about 4,000'. The temperature difference was only about 10 degrees.

I know I didn't hit anything, and the window was latched down. So a couple of possibilities:

1) The window was damaged from a rock flying from the road and hit the top bunk about 10' high?

2) The manufacturer has had a defective window?

Any input would be great.

Thanks!

Duane
