How Strong is Roof on Passport

How strong is the roof on the 2011 Passport model. I have a 2910bh and have been up on the roof myself to clean and inspect but wasn’t sure of the actual weight restrictions. I am going to a NASCAR race and was wondering if 2 or 3 people good site up there. With the rubber room membrane I would be very cautious and probably but some rug down so the chairs would damage roof. But my first impression is the roof is not made for that type of weight from 3 people

I wouldn't recommend that many people on the roof. they move around enough with just one person cleaning them. And i would think that chairs would go streight though as the weight is now consentrated in one spot. IMO

The roof isn’t meant to be used for grandstands. Just for access to do the work you need to do.

Even if u set a piece of plywood down on the roof I don't know if I would sit up there for any length of time.

The roof is designed to handle a certain amount of snow so I think the weight of 3 people is fine but the rubber membrene can easily be punctured and I would not do it.

While the roof can handle a good amount of snow, it’s not nearly as concentrated per square foot as a person. A cubic foot of heavy snow is about 10 lbs. A standing or sitting person exerts way more than 10 lbs. per square foot.

The Passport roof is not strong enough to be used that way.The underlay under the rubber roof is only about as thick as Luan. I don"t think you will like the result of three people being up there.
