Beware of State & Federal "rules"

In crazy CA, you must have a permitted connection to your clean out or sewer line. Otherwise, anything that isn't flushed specifically through your toilet or down a sink or shower drain is considered hazardous waste; pouring it directly into your clean out is considered illegal disposal of hazardous waste.
Only in the nanny state can you not dump your own poop into your own sewer and they think lugging buckets full of it through your house, to dump in your toilet, is the smart solution.
Sigh.

Have you thought about writing one of your Congress persons such as the Speaker or a Senator such as the VP nominee? They are both there busy in Washington representing the best interests of your state.

Operational Question for all of you who pump uphill with a macerator:

You have to disconnect it at some point and there is still "contents under pressure" as they say in the hose. Do you have an isolation valve to do so? I picture it as trailer>dump valve>pump>isolation valve>garden hose>cleanout.

This way you can isolate the contents of the hose, raise it higher than the cleanout then open the valve to drain the hose.

Or do you pump enough fresh water through it after dumping that you are not concerned with the remaining "waste" water in the hose?

When we recently remodeled our kitchen I had to reroute the sink plumbing. I used this golden opportunity to install a cleanout at the side of the house where we park the trailer to use as a dump station. Its only a 2" line so will use a macerator. This is all downhill so I don't have the concern listed above.

I have always been curious how people don't take a wastewater shower when disconnecting these pumps.

Actually, the issue is, you’re adding living space without adding taxes to cover the extra sewage. CA isn’t the only state that doesn’t allow it. WA & OR have the same restriction. I think if you’re getting away with it, it’s because nobody’s noticed.
