Oregon SP total ban on outdoor flames!

Oregon SP have issued a TOTAL BAN on outdoor flame producing devices. This includes propane fire pits and propane BBQs.

Oregon is a beautiful place but I'll never see it again in this lifetime.
Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and New Mexico are the only states that I'll spend my money

You should join the exodus...

Well, with Oregon on fire right now, I totally understand. as with California and Washington , the west coast is ablaze. Its a sad sight.

I don't think the fires in the hills is his (Javi's) problem Russ, it's the ones in the streets. Be careful out there.

Well that is a shame, as it is mostly the greater Portland area downtown. Out side that area the state is still beautiful. Sitting right now in a small SP nestled between I84 and the Columbia River, we do have the East/West Mine line between us and the river, trains all night blowing their horn for the river access road, never hear them or traffic on I84.

Yes I agree that Oregon is a very beautiful place and I've been up there several times back in the late 60's and into the late 70's. But today I have no desire to visit places where I don't belong. Watching the behavior of folks around this nation, I'm better off traveling in areas where I'm not as likely to end up in jail...

I'm with Javi on this one - California, Oregon, Washington - until the people of those states step up and make changes, I won't be there. I'm not a warrior for social justice - but I'm sure as heck not going to let a mob over-run me, the DW, and our rig. So to stay out of jail on 2nd amendment issues, I'll just stay to the east.

Javi, don't forget Arizona! A great place to visit!

I agree with the temp. ban. It is so hot (100+) and dry (8%) that you can fart and start a fire. This is not a political decision, but a safety concern. Oregon does not need even one more fire. Fire fighter are here from all over the country. California and Washington are in the same boat. BTW plenty of 2nd amendment supporter in Oregon.
