Screen door

Just picked up our new outback 340bh last night. Today noticed the screen door isn't latching when we close just that. Any ideas? Will be hoping to fix it when I get home from work.

Welcome to the forum from Connecticut. Lots of good people and good knowledge base here.

A picture or little more info would be handy, but if you examine your latch, you'll probably find an adjustment can be made by loosening the screws and readjusting the latch plate.

Good Luck,

Is the latch not sticking out far enough? It can be adjusted. You can also “bend” the hinges to “extend” the screen away from the hinges.

Was it closing properly before you brought it to where it is now? Is/was it sitting directly in the sun for extended period of time? The temperature difference has been a culprit of this issue in the past on quite a few models...more so on the main door, but occasionally with the screen door.

Is it unlevel? Off kilter? If so that can affect the screen latching to the door.

Fixed the door this weekend. Just needed 2 small washers to make it close.
