New from southwest pa

Ive been on irv for the last few years and the jayco forums. Im not totally new to rving as we still have a jayco 324bhds bumper pull that weve gotten alot of enjoyment out of. Tomorow were going to be making a leap to a 5th wheel toyhauler. We found a 2016 fuzion 385 that we really like and were making a run to virginia to pick it up tomorow. Were really excited about having a newer, nicer trailer to go out in since weve loved our older jayco thats not as fancy as the fuzion.

The camper will be pulled by my 03 f350 6.0 screw dually that i picked up a few years ago after i bought the jayco. I know its older, but for the price of the fuel system on a newer common rail truck i can get a complete drop in crate motor and i like being able to work on my vehicles instead of having to hit the dealer since you can barely see the tops of the motor on the newer trucks. Its also pre emissions and i believe theres something to be said for simplicity.

Ive been a class a cdl driver for the last 10 years in the oilfield and ive hauled everything from a pickup and gooseneck to 130k coiled tubing units, and run all the newer pickup setups and big trucks with 8, 10, and 18 speed trans with up to 15 liter cats, cummins, detroits, and internationals.

Glad to be here, and looking forward to contributing and learning from the folks here.

Greetings and welcome aboard!

Our first trailer was a Jayco as well. That unit served us well, never had to take it back to the dealer for any service.

Enjoy your new to you Fuzion!
