albief, Howdy;

Can not say this is the problem or not... Have heard some folks chat about the slide rods (?), cutting or pinching the wires under the slides of some trailers.

Some have a spring that holds the wires out of the way others use zip ties.

You need to get under the slide and give it a good looky-see. Carefully check the wires for breaks and abrasions...

Sorry that all i can think of right now.

albief, As "The other Hank" said this is a common problem. For safety, disconnect from shore power before checking these wires as most slides have at least one 120v outlet in them. There may be a junction box inside or under the slide where wires may also have come loose. Welcome to the forum and be sure to let us know what you find. Good Luck, Hank

Been under the slide and found something had chewed the wires, last thing I saw under there was a cross between a rabbit and a hare, just before we lost the lights, respliced the wires and all is ok, thanks for the help
